I've always been partial to daydreaming about this virginal land that Dick Daley sent me a photo of:

Well, that and the occasional Anna Kournikova shot.

Tony...you managed to spell Aidan's name correctly...but missed on "Rosses Point".  ;D

My background is the view from behind the 5th green at Machrihanish (hope I got that one right) from Ran's profile.

It is a bit blurry at full screen size...but still a great shot.

Cheers!
Chris

And for those who haven't figured out how yet, all you have to do is left click on the picture above, then right click and choose 'set as background' ;D

In my office, I have a photo of Nicklaus waving farewell from the Swilcan Bridge during the 2005 Open Championship.

At home, I have one of the recent photos that Tommy Naccarato posted of North Berwick.

Isn't that photo the "Anti-GCA" poster.  Let's see:

Waterfalls...check, Fountain...check, Railroad ties...check, Bunkers fronting the water hazard...check, Flowers on mound hiding cartpath...check.  ;)

Eric it's pure Genius.

Jamie you missed my favorite feature on my real home course. Scroll over to the right edge and you can see a trimmed hedge to stop people getting too close to the water. ::)

Tony,

I missed that one.  It is a nice touch, "safety first".

Eric,

is that Ted Robinson at the Marriott in Palm Desert or thereabouts?

And I thought it was Ted Robinson at Tustin Ranch (11th hole) in Tustin, CA.

It is in fact Tustin "Raunch."

I wish I could take credit for those North Berwick images, but they come from a friend(s) who I never realized was such an exceptional talent behind a Brownie. (Kodak camera. Old very old!)

George,

I'm impressed you were able to get "virginal" and "Anna Kournikova" in the same post.

Tommy's Rainbow over North Berwick.

Thanks for posting it, Tommy, and congrats to the author.

I gotta get my ass over there again soon. It's been too long.

This makes me sooooooo mad that I dont have a picture.

My one at school is the best ever!!!!!

It is a picture of Augusta #12 and on the top, instead of trees, are three pictures of Paula Creamer.
Pretty in pink!
Pretty in black!
Pretty damn good looking!!!!!

My desktop doesn't have any pictures but my screensaver is a slideshow of all my golf photographs and drawings.  There must be a couple of thousand images all told.  Of the photographs, I enjoy trying to identify the course and hole before the next slide is cued up.

I change my desktop quite often, but this is one I am quite fond of.  As a student at the School of Golf Operation in Lake City we were allowed to help set up gallery ropes, etc.  In exchange for a ticket to see the tourney - what a great time.

Mine is of No. 2 at Mendakota CC (my home course). It's the hole where I made my first hole in one.
