I think I'm in pretty company regarding Herbert Strong and in particular the potential of Engineers (Morrissett, Hanse & Doak), but then again maybe we're all obsessed with the past and utterly cluelessness of the present.
Tom MacWood - So, that is what this is all about to you! I said way back that this was about you being right and the rest of us being wrong. All I know is that three of us have seen the tweaking of Engineers up close and personal... have you? You are basing everything you say on third party comments and, unless I'm highly mistaken, none of the people you quote have played the course since the changes were executed. How can you be so critical of someone's work based on hearsay?
