I cannot see the pictures on my computer but finally I saw these pictures on
teamphotogeniccomA final 'frosting on the cake' for you non believers.
Here is one picture of Doak and I together taken by a professional photographer. Pictures of the course are also real cool.

And, Mr. Adam Foster Collins, I will start with a discussion of a great course.
Tumble Creek is very pretty. OK, so when I said it was the best in WA I admit I was a little overwhelmed by the whole deal--I mean, I gotta play with one of the nicest people in the world who just so happens to be one of the top architects in the world. But, Tumble Creek was nice. I really liked how the bunkers seemed like they were almost already there and not put into the land. The front nine had some of the craziest and coolest greens I have ever seen. One green drained in six(!) different points. The whole front nine was one of the better nines I have played, though I have not yet played many of the courses people rave about.
The back nine was ok, and IMO not as good as the front. The first four holes were really great but then the next couple holes reminded me of Gold Mountain, or say a real nice Harbour Point wth better architecture and views. The water hazards looked unnatural and did not really fit with the rest of the course. That being said, I liked the cape aspect used for the tee shot on #16. Very cool. I think that was a good way to use the hazard. 17 was a long par three, somewhat steriotypical, but still this one was real nice and provided options. A real cool green, not unnorm,al for this course. 18 was a great finisher. I look forward to comparing to other Doak courses. This one was sure quite a ride.
I hope many GCA'ers get to play this course.
How many have played it already?
