Its this time of year I miss living on Colorado the most.  Summertime in CO is magical in my book.  So many good and beautiful courses (not a perfect intersection of those 2 subsets BTW).  Maybe I coulod get Doug Wright to adopt me? :)

Cheers,
Brad

If the criteria is most beautiful course in Colorado for a golfer, then I don't see how you can choose anywhere other than Ballyneal.  It's pretty much perfect.  You drive through boring, flat land and end up on a course  that could be Ireland if you didn't know any better.  That amazing transformation in just a few miles would be hard to surpass.  No cart paths or excess of any sort.  A pure, BEAUTIFUL golf course.

For a non-golfer, the choice might be different.  They might prefer the scenery to the golf course.  But if you are talking about just the course, can there be one more beautiful in Colorado?

John,
You may very well be right, but don't discount the quality of the golf around the entire state of Colorado. I'll be able to answer your question for myself by the end of next month. It won't bother me a bit to agree with you  ;D

John, I wouldn't think of going all Huckaby on you (sorry, Mr. H), but it's hard for anyone to not tie in a golf course to its surroundings. Unfortunately, it seems like there's a good number of courses that use views to make up for less than stellar architecture.......

Kirk,
You make a good point.

I guess one of the things that was so beautiful about Ballyneal was going from this....

To this in only a few miles.  If I said Ballyneal is the most beautiful course in Colorado when compared to its surroundings, how about that?

John,

You've only played 1 course in the entire state.  I'm sure Ballyneal is gorgeous, but I would stop digging that hole your in before it gets any deeper!!   ;D
