Is anyone familiar with this early Ross course. what are some
of the most memorable holes/greens ? Does the routing come close to  the bay/ ocean. How does it compare with  Warwick   or Sakonnet.   thanks

Had Lunch thier yesterday.None of the holes are on the water as a road is next tothe course and the ocean as well as houses between the road and the ocean. Mike fay knows a good deal about this as one of the par threes is in his book on donald ross.

Mark,

It's a terrific golf course, swept by wind..

It underwent some work by Cornish & Silva earlier and then Ron Prichard was retained to restore the golf course.

His work was a great improvement.

There were serious drainage problems on a number of holes, such as 1, 2, 3 and others.  The fairways were raised to counter the problem.

The course would benefit from a tree removal process.

But, it's fun to play, sporty, with a number of interesting holes.

A hidden gem of sorts.
