Off to Ireland and Portugal to photograph some grass. Back July 1 depending on the weather. Looking forward to hanging out in the pubs and watching the World Cup. Hope to have some interesting new images to share upon my return.

Aidan.

 Aidan,

Is this the best time of the year to photograph courses in Ireland?

As always, I'm interested in Irish courses.  What's your itinerary in Ireland?

Looking forward to seeing more of your work when you get back.

Andy

Mayday..........Traditionally May and September usually get the nod. I have shot in May, June, July, and August and each sunny day is a gift. I am going for six weeks in the hope of getting enough good weather to complete my projects and again for three weeks in August to pick up whatever I missed.

Andy.......A mixture of some new courses just opening and some of the  classics. I will get in my car in the morning and chase sunshine wherever it is to be found, have a pint at the end of the day and do the same again the next day.

These words are true poetry to my ears.

Have a great trip Aidan. I always remember the expression  from when I was in medical photography that "photography is the hardest way to make an easy living". I look forward to seeing more of your images when you return.
