They also were at the forefront of a "movement," as were 4
guys from Liverpool packaged by Brian Epstein.  But I stray.

Spot on, Gary. History always seems to repeat it self at some degree.

I'd have bet ANYTHING that I was the only person on this board EVER to have listened to "Music for Airports."

If we're talking the Eno Ambient albums, I think "On Land" is the best one. That recording helps me concentrate like no other.

Is it true to say that land costs in or near metropolitan areas constitute the most significant impediment to the creation of quality, affordable golf? If so, what might be the answer? Could existing municipal golf courses that provide inexpensive, if not stimulating, golf experiences be renovated at a low enough cost to keep the green fees low? Or is golf course construction like airport construction - build it as far out in the sticks as you think people can stand, and wait for the people to start moving in........

Well since the topic migrated to music, I'll throw out a nod to Talking heads' seminal album and movie Stop making Sense.  I wore out 2 copies!

Gary, my being up to date on cutting edge music (except Jimmy Dale Gilmore!) ended about the time the Beatles broke up!
