We had a wonder (very wet at times) day yesterday.
The is a renewed (rather "new") pride being taken by the Scott's staff as they see the improved areas of the course - I think this will continue.
Yes there is a plan - and not the usual Master Plan - but a plan to continue the ongoing process.
His budget is a quite good and has incentives built into it so there will be continuing funding as these major improvements show results.
The intended SCALE of this great courses is now much more reflective of the property it is on. This is key.
Most (all?) of the tree work was jobbed to a sub-contractor - a good sub-contractor. There is no way you can do 1500 trees, and counting, in house.

Even though the greens were wet they were rolling wonderfully and the conditions throughout the course is good. It no longer looks like a beat up muni it looked like a number of years ago.
