Aren't those fairway bunkers on #4 new?  The new width in
the fairway left looks seemless, as if it was always there.

Yup, new fairway bunkers to turn the hole more left to right giving a much better angle into the green.  The fairway was shaved down so that the marsh crossing is more visible, especially from the white tees where it is very reachable.  The bunkers are generally just visual keys and are designed to reject most shots but, if you find one of them with your tee shot, ya got to take your medicine cause with the natural grasses in them, there's not way to go for the green.

And, just because I've been asked, there are similar pot bunkers on other holes -- No. 9, No. 12 and No. 13...

How deep are those fairway pot bunkers on #4...if you get in one can you cross the marsh?

the interviewer asked beck how he felt "being the bob dylan of the 90's" and beck quitely responded "i actually feel more like the bon jovi of the 60's"

Matt;

Let's put it this way...it would be a high risk shot to even attempt the marsh crossing from those bunkers.   :o
