From what I've read in the red covered copy of the Confidential Guide, there is still a big bite in alot of Mr. Doak's comments. One that I do remember was the review of his own golf course at The Legends Golf Club.

If those comments are toned-down...I really want to read the old version!

Tom -

Since I have a great deal of respect for you and your work I didn't print them. There are many times I wish I could have recalled what I've written, and I agree with Tom Naccarato- harsh but indeed accurate.

I changed my golf trip later this year to play The Addington based on your review of it, seems like my type of course. I hope to play Sebonack shortly after it opens and have Barnbougle and Cape Kidnappers in January and am sure to let the world know what I think!

The last thing you need from me is advice, but I hope you tread lightly at San Francisco. It is such a fantastic course the way it is.
