Wow, those truly are beautiful. Good for you. Thanks

That first one is such an interesting composition. You're an artiste.

Coore and Crenshaw blew it, there has to be a punchbowl hole back there!

Sorry,

The first one doesn't do much for me. No center of focus. Just busy.

Second one is better, but hard to coax clouds into the right positions for optimal composition.

Scott, yes, I did, not sure what I did wrong...but thanks.

Garland...No problem.  I took that picture at Kohler...don't remember if it was on the Meadows, Irish or Blackwolf to tell you the truth. Also not sure what caused me to look off that particular fairway to see the top of that building peaking through, but I think what gets me is exactly the fact that there is no center.  Anyway, I think we can all agree, that when we take pictures, and then decide to keep them, there is something that resonates in each of them, and for me, what I remember is the still and the quiet, and how standing there, everything just seemed to blend together.  Truth be told, it's kind of sad that I don't remember which course I took it on.

Mike Sweeney:

Welcome to the realities of routing. Coore and Crenshaw found about 130 great holes out there, but Dick Youngscap only needed 18 holes.  ;)

The cool thing about the first picture is that it makes me wonder. Is it a home, a barn, a golf course maintenance building? Is there people near it? Mysterious and attractive.....

At what speed are the greens at Sand Hills typically maintained (this may be a bit OT...)?
