When do I get to play golf with some GCA'ers?!

Anybody want to play Rustic Canyon on Sunday, March 12th? I'm going up to visit U.C. Santa Barbara with my son on Friday the 10th, and will probably play La Purisima that afternoon, and then was thinking of making the long drive to play a practice round on Saturday the 11th at Stevinson Ranch and then thought we'd catch Rustic Canyon on Sunday. Some buddies from the IE are going to meet me and my son there on the 12th, but would love to hook up with some GCA'ers also!

My wife and I are planning on playing Oak Quarry in Riverside which appears to be your home town.

Our date is Firday April 7th. You're welcome to join us that morning, we thought we'd play early enuf so miss the Friday afternoon traffic into LA to visit our daughter.

   I will look at my schedule and see if I can come over to say hi at Stevinson. In case we don't get a chance to meet I would love to hear your thoughts on the course.
    Check with David Moriarty and David Kelly regarding Rustic, they are out there most, if not all, Sunday mornings.

Maybe this doesn't need to be asked but... you do know where Stevinson Ranch IS, right?

It will take you at least 5 hours to get from La Purisima to there,maybe more...

And then it's at least another 5 hours back to Rustic...

My son is old enough to drive now, which is nice.

I've decided I simply MUST play a practice round at Stevinson, and my son is just going to have to pay the price! LOL!!

You must have missed my write-up on Rustic. I declared it my favorite golf course ever. Absolutely loved the place.

You might be able to get more of a chance to play with these architects and armchairs if you didn't play to get into those bunkers they put there to thwart your ability to make the wrong choices and still score.

   I want to know what you think about Stevinson, I already know what you think about Rustic. Kudos to you for taking golf to another level I have never considered, a chauffeur to get you to the course. I'll have to remember that one for when my boys are old enough to drive.
