We're trying to close down on this itinerary, with Grand National (Auburn) and Cambrian Ridge (Greenville) in the mix. Any comments on Highland Oaks (Dothan)?

Thanks,

Doug, I liked Dothan, found it a lot more "player friendly" than some of the other Trail courses -- think Prattville  :o and Birmingham  :(

And Dothan does have a 700 yard par 5 that's actually reachable in 3!

Dothan is a pretty comfortable drive from Greenville.  Also, if it's raining in Greenville, it most likely isn't in Dothan which is southeast of Greenville - the rain pattern goes SW to NE and goes above Dothan a lot.

Guys I feel that Cambrian Ridge is the best of the bunch. I generally have not heard much good about the Montgomery area courses. Dothan CC. has held one of the finest Junior Tourneys in the country for decades called the Future Masters
