The Golf Club of Purchase

I know Jack does not get much love from the treehouse, but what about this Westchester, NY course's architectural merits?

There is a fairly big article in today's NY Times' Business Section on exclusive private clubs and Wall Street bosses, and it appears that, flying under the radar, this new club has amassed quite a powerful membership. Kinda low profile thing.

Is it one of Jack's better efforts?

17 forced carries over wetlands, including three alone on the par-5 seventh. It's a miracle his group was able to route the thing at all, but after a while golf like that takes its toll on you.

For a 200K+ membership fee, it should be a "better effort" by JN. But a club is more than a golf course so who knows? Here's the link(registration required) to the article:
