Just to give a heads up, thought this would be interesting to see.  Has anyone seen this episode before?

I've seen this episode. It's on Fine Living channel. Good pics of Wild Horse and the people behind the development.

According to my tv guide, Golf Channel is showing "Babe," the life and times of Babe Didricksen.  I thought "Babe" was about that talking pig........

I looked down the long list of channels carried by our local Cox station, no Fine Living.  Thanks anyway....

I have not seen this episode, but have recorded several other WG shows.  He spends less time on the course than I would like.  His focus is on the destination and the surrounding people involved with the golf course.  But the shows are worth watching.  I think he even went to Bandon.  I know he has done TOC and Carnoustie.

Gene,

I'm going to try to tape over my copy of the first 2004 Presidential Debate.  I'm also going to try to figure out my VCR player in the next half hour so I can do this.

It will therefore be a great and sad personal sacrifice for me, but the way I see it, I figure I owe you one.  ;D

Shoot me your mailing address again.

It's 4:22 EST, they've gone to commercial, and Wild Horse has yet to make an appearance.

However, they did just spend about 10 minutes on "throwlfing".   ::)

Short segment on WH for the finale, including some brief discussion with Dan&Dave.

They really didn't discuss much except how they built it with local volunteers, but it sure does look good.

I guess I got my hopes up.  5 minutes of saying WH is a special place and zero minutes of explaining why it was a special place besides the local involvement.

I enjoyed the piece on Mr. Hogan's program in Miller Park, but the throwing thing?  And the only reason they went to Dannebrog was to put on overalls and show cows.

I still enjoy the show, but it makes me wonder the quality of the episodes of places where I have not been.

Thanks, Mike!

Thanks Jason for keeping us abreast of goings on related to the sandhills region. It's about this time of year I start having withdrawl symptoms.

Not a problem Gene, you are correct on the withdrawl symptoms.  It was 24 degrees with snow today and there was no winter trip south this year.  I am starting to dream about playing golf similar to the way Ralphie dreamed about his Red Rider BB gun.

P.S. Creighton trailed by 5-9 most of the second half this afternoon, they just couldn't get over the hump.

Bill, Fine Living is on direct TV. I do not remember it being on any version or package Cox has in our area. I love my direct TV
