I suspect that only Ran and Tom Doak have seen both of these on GCA (perhaps NAF)?
Me, I'm the opposite to Bill-played Addington not Shoreacres.
If there were degrees of uniqueness that The Addington would be one of the "most unique"!
From Ran's pics in the reviews (which aren't very good for Shoreacres) The Addington looks more dramatic. The ravines (and they really are ravines) come into play on these shots:
6th drive (summer and v long player), approach
8th approach (long you're in a deep ravine)
9th drive over on ravine approach over another(same one?)
10th drive
12th drive for long player, approach
13th tee shot
16th approach
17th tee
So they have to be considered on about 11 shots for the longer player, a couple less for the shorter.
