Callippe Preserve Golf Course in Pleasanton, CA?

I live in Nor. Cal and just heard this course opened in November and wondered if anyone had played it yet or knows anything about it's design, playability, etc.

I haven't played it - I'd love to but golf isn't much in my reality.  Last I heard neither had Ed, and he declared no intention to do so.  Gib participates in here as often as I pass up dessert.

 

My comments from the last thread hold - the NCGA guys liked it fair enough.

Mike - wasn't Pieracci gonna play there?  Jeez I'm with you - get him to post so we can put this to rest.

A guy I work with has 2 times at Calippe for this Friday morning.  I was planning on going, but I have kid duty and need to leave work early on Thursday, which means I will be working extra on Friday, no golf for Blutto.

My coworker has played there, but his comments are invalid, since they played it the day over the holiday when it wasn't raining, but the wind was blowing 30 - 40+ MPH.  That is the reason they are going back.

I still haven't seen it, and am waiting for one of our local luminaries to join me before I go down the street about 1mile to most likely be underwhelmed by the course. Can you sense my excitement?
