Of course, all this talk about driveable or not accepts, at least in part, Jordan's premise that in order to be #1, or top 5, or what have you, that there must be a driveable par 4 on the course...

Though not ranked #1 in the AJGA rankings, Jamie Lovemark is the best junior--this is based upon his high finishes in amateur events including his winning the hardest event to win--the Western Am.  This kid is the real deal and I've seen most of SoCal's best the past 25+ years.   As for the fourth at Pebble, it might not have been a drivable hole when built, but it is now in the short drivable hole category these days. That should not take away from whether the hole is well designed or not.
