For pictures, buy Brad's book. ;D

Or visit:

www.desertforestgolfclub.com

I don't know if the club allows guests to take pictures.

Steve;

Thanks for the reply.  Just for the fun of it, I'm gonna buy the book....maybe this Klein guy needs the money!

Enjoy the weekend,

I don't get a penny for any books sold. My deal was up front, and they now belong to the club.

Brad Klein;

Sorry, it was just a poor attempt on my part at some humor.

I would like to better understand DF's design nuances, as well as get a look at what seems to be the mature desert landscapes adjacent to the turf...I trust that the book's photos will help illustrate that.

Hey, don't worry, I'm sensitive about things.

Best bet is to walk DFGC, then have the book in hand - it's available at the pro shop and is a very good guide but best perused after seeing the course.

Brad;

Thanks for the suggestion.  A tiny light is dawning that a February golf/MLB spring training trip to Arizona might work, an escape from the moisture of Bandon to the dry beauty of the desert.

With some luck I could take a look at Desert Forest (and other courses) then.
