C&C News

Just saw this on Ben's website.  It looks like they got the second course at Palmetto:

Coore & Crenshaw started construction of Colorado Golf Club on April 1 and work with the entire C&C crew in place on the job.  Upcoming projects for Bill and Ben are We-Ko-Pa in Scottsdale, Arizona, scheduled to begin in October; The Tribute in Bend, Oregon scheduled to begin in the late fall; and The Club at Sugarloaf Mountain near Orlando, Florida to begin in the early spring of 2006.  Other projects under contract are courses in Aspen, Colorado (Summer 2006) and Palmetto Bluff in Blufton, South Carolina (Spring 2007).

Where is the Aspen site?

Palmetto Bluffs has very goood topography and grat live oaks
Live Jupiter, Fl, was  4 handicap, played top 100 US, top 75 World. Great memories, no longer play, 4 back surgeries. I don't miss a lot of things about golf, life is simpler with out it. I miss my 60 degree wedge shots, don't miss nasty weather, icing, back spasms. Last course I played was Augusta

Are C&C taking on more work than they used to?

Who did they compete with for those jobs?

How many courses could they design in their careers?
Could there be 30 C&C courses that I'll want to visit for the next 20 years?

Congratulations - as if Bill has a computer.
Thinking of Bob, Rihc, Bill, George, Neil, Dr. Childs, & Tiger.

Isn't Palmetto Bluffs the site of the new Nicklaus course everyone on here was raving about?

Jeff,
Yes-It is my understanding that the C&C course will be private.
