Donald Ross Society Gathering in Chicago
« on: August 29, 2005, 06:14:21 PM »
Folks,

I have been asked to post a note about a gathering of the Donald Ross Society in Chicago on September 18 and 19th.  On Sunday the 18th, there will be golf at Ravisloe, a terrific Ross course restored by David Esler, followed by bbq and a presentation by Mr. Esler.  On the 19th, there will be golf at Beverly CC, with really benign pin positions and slow-poke greens  ;D  followed by dinner and a presentation by Ron Prichard.  There are also opportunities for other cool golf in the days before and after.

There are a few spots left open.  For more info, contact Rick Holland, who actually does exist, at 1-800-621-2103, and/or visit the Ross society webpage on the event, which is at:

http://www.donaldrosssociety.org/MEMBERS/ChicagoTournament.htm

or www.donaldrosssociety.org, and then go to news and click on the windy city event.

Be there or be square.  Actually, I'm doing both.
