Oakland Hills / Rees

Anybody heard anything about Rees Jones coming in to work on Oakland Hills?

Geez...there's a good idea.  

There aren't enough Rees Jones looking bunkers in Chicago, evidently.  Michigan must be getting jealous.

I played with two members this weekend.
They are closing the course in September to start work, changing the shape and positions of some of the water, new bunkers new tees etc in preperation for the PGA in I believe 08.

It sounded very much to me  that they are trying to"restore" the course to the way it played 15/20 years ago in terms of the strategic value of the hazards.
