The NE coast of France was and is a playground for the English. After all, they used to own the place (until 1558). It's easier to get there than say Westward Ho! from London. Lots of courses along that coast: Hardelot, Le Touquet, etc. Some scholars think that these courses are where the battle was fought for the hearts and minds of GCA between Impressionism and the dark forces of the Arts and Crafts movement.........
