It is very exclusive.  If you can find a way to play it you should as it is special and you'll be hearing a lot more about it in the years to come!  It's Gil's best design to date!

The routing is great. The holes are very diverse and each offers something unique within the course. The back nine was not completed when I visited, so we only played nine. But...walking the unfinished holes was special in itself.

I was perplexed by the short, uphill par-4...I think it would be much more fun on the second+ rounds...as one would have more knowledge of the hidden green. (Which, by the way, is a wonderful and tricky green.) As a short hitter it was almost a handicap to be using tees wayyyy below

with perhaps Sand Hills as an exception, I've never desired/anticipated a return visit to a course more than after experiencing BGC for the first time.......almost sensory overload the first time through....this course is a "poster course" for the gca crowd........lots of intelligent "challenges" on almost every hole.......possible overload, to a degree, but "god bless" the opportunity given to and used by Gil Hanse, who has a  8. or 8.5, Doak scale, for all to see ..

It's an amazing golf course and looks and plays as if it's been there 80 years.
