I thought PVGC was private?

PVGC lets the public play on weekday afternoons, I believe (although I've never been out there).

+1 for Terranea if you want some nice views and great architecture.  You just won't need any club longer than a 6 iron.

Nice call on Terranea. That looks perfect, given the limited time constraints! Thanks!

To get to LAX on time especially if you have to drop off a car, you would need to be done pretty early.  You could try to get out
at Arroyo Trabuco which in is Irvine and a very good Lehman design.  You would need to tee off before 7 which puts you just
about sunrise. Probably 45-50 minutes to LAX. I would be happy to host you at my club,  Old Ranch CC,  a pretty good Ted Robinson layout in Seal Beach, about 30 minutes from the airport and right off the 405.   Will run you about $100 walking and we could be done by 10:30 or 10:40. Otherwise getting up to Terranea early would be your other best bet.  Rec Park, El Dorado, and Skylinks in Long Beach are all very good munis but unless you tee off before sunrise on the weekend you have no chance of finishing on time.  You could
go online (American Golf Long Beach Courses) to check.    If you are interested E mail me at LWayneF@aol.com
