Bob Crosby Debate Champion???

I have just been informed by a reliable source that Bob Crosby was a National Debate Champion while at Culver Military Academy. Think we could have him in some of these 15 page discussions. Down here I always had thought "de bait" champion as the guy that could dig the most worms. If I had only known.

You are both wrong. People just say that stuff because I couldn't get a date in high school.

While you cool guy football players were wasting time necking with cheerleaders in the back seat, I was home reading Max Behr and Tom Simpson, thus preparing myself for the debates to come 35 years later on GCA.

Who'd have guessed the method to your madness back then?

From what I've heard, most of those cheerleaders have never quite recovered from your rejection of them for a higher calling.

I am not sure debating skills and sex with cheerleaders are mutually exclusive. It has always taken a great deal of communication skills for me to land a pleated skirt with pom poms.
