HN is, indeed, a very fine Fazio course on a very difficult piece of property.

(are there any good parcels left on either coast?).

for what it's worth, the area around the Stonewalls and French Creek in NW Chester County PA ooze with golf potential.  If I, a decided architecture hack, can see the potential, I only wonder what a skilled architect could come up with.

The area just east of Stonewall is spectacular.

I have walked it three different times without problem. It is certainly hilly, but not too bad.

Hudson National walkable depends on the meaining of walkable.  They do have a cartman that drives you up the hill from 2 green to 3 tee.  That is quite a hill but I have had to walk it.  Other than that yes it is walkable but it is not a good walk.  I think a foursome would be hard pressed to play in 4:30.  that is a function of the walk.

Slapper,

Pat,

Not with my knees!! It is walkable if you want, but I liken it to a good warmup for the entire Appalachian Trail!
