Alan Gard,

After we played Wild Horse some of us commented, that with what appeared to be great land for golf, six to twelve great golf courses would have to exist in order to make the area a golfing destination for the far away golfer.

Golfers aren't going to travel 1,000, or 2,000 miles to come to Nebraska to play 36 holes and go home.

Keiser's vision packaged the whole deal.
A variety of golf courses, lodging, food and other activities, all centrally located.

The decentralized nature of golf in Nebraska makes it unattractive for a quick visit from far away.

It would appear that the land contains an infinite number of great golf courses, the question is, will venture capital and golfers from afar be attracted to the area in sufficient volume to make it a golfing Mecca.

As much as I loved Wild Horse, I won't be traveling for a day to get there and a day to get home, just to play 36 holes.

And, I suspect that the addition of homes surrounding the golf course will make it a less attractive destination.
