Greatest architectural variety

Picking up at a tangent from Ran's recent thread, which courses show the greatest architectural diversity? - a bit more than 'no two holes alike'

I'll nominate The Addington.

Although I feel like a broken record in a lot of these threads but the greatest diversity in a course I feel is Crystal Downs.  The front and back are complete opposites and even so many of the holes on each nine are so different.  The par 4's each present a different challenge.  Three of the par 3's are close to the same distance but the wind usually will vary your club choice on each one enough to make a considerable different.

High Pointe has completely different 9's entirely also.

Brian,

Don't feel unwelcome.  I once did - savaged by someone when I hadn't really done my homework - but I've made a lot of friends here and they could not have been more generous with their time and fellowship on my recent American visits.  Stick with it!

Mark,
I don't feel unwecome by any means here.  Actually I've already set up a few golf rounds with people on this site.  My "not sounding like a broken record" is in reference to always reffering to Crystal Downs in so many of my posts.  I've played a lot of great golf courses across the U.S. and wether it is just my preference since I grew up playing the course but I just feel it is exceptional and slightly above anything else I've played.  The only course that I've played that comes close is Merion.  So, I kind of laugh when people post "what is the best course for....." topics because my answer is almost undoubtedly Crystal Downs.  But, I'm playing Prairie Dunes, Victoria National, Medinah, Hazeltine and Olympia Fields later this year so maybe my perspective will change a little.
