Right you are, Bobsy.  When that was your home course in college, you played it as the regular routing, right?  Did the par distribution seem odd to you?

Ticonderoga Golf Club in NY

443 553  535

435  344 434

If it weren't for that pesky 10th there would be 11 consectutive holes without a par 4.

Oddly, the par distribution at TCC never occurred to me until you asked your teaser question.

Now, in hindsight, I realize it is just one more reason for its difficulty. There is no let up.

Greenwich CC has a stretch of consecutive par 4's on the front 9 extending into the back nine (don't recall hole #'s off the top of my head - 3-11-? ) that seem never to end. That is not my favorite flow for a round of golf but the course is excellent.

On the other hand, Wannamoisett has NO par 5 until #17 and it is just great.  The variety in length and play of the holes is superb.  Par 69 - who cares.

Yale as well has its first par 5 on #16 (the least interesting hole on the course which I think has 17 supurb holes) and its variety and interest till that point can not be questioned.

Greenwich is:

4 3 4 5 4 4 4 4 4 - 36
4 4 3 4 5 3 4 4 4 - 35  71

The 5th through 9th at Greenwich really determined your score as these par 4's are all challenging at 400 yards + with hills.

Woodway used to open:

4 4 4 4 4 4 3 4 4 - 35
3 4 5 4 4 3 4 5 4 - 36

Six or seven par 4's in a row is a real test.
