I think we should round-up all of this mollydockers and exile all of them on Anthrax Island with Hannibal Lector. BUt that's just my opinion.
Wait a second! Not Lynn though. Lynn can stay here on the mainland....
Dr. Lefty Lector Jr.,
In my thoughts, I think any golf course that creates controversy both good and bad as being a good, if not GREAT one. Hidden Creek I would say welcomes that ideaology through and through. I can hardly wait to get back there. Its the type of course I could play from morning till night and then repeat it again and again day after day--that's how much I liked it. It's not a bit pretentious in anyway (as a club) and I think Roger, Jennifer, Bill, Ben & The Boys, as well as Ian and his staff have created not only a homey, comfrotable atmosphere there, but one that should be emulated throughout the country if not the world. I know you know this!
Three cheers for Hidden Creek!
Horray!
Horray!
Horray!
And if indeed we did ban all mollydockers to Anthrax Island, I can only hope for all of you Mollydocker's sake that a course and club like Hidden Creek is the local golf. For that reason alone, I might just become a mollydocker myself!
PS. Why does a course in Atlantic City have to be compared to a course in Westchester in terms of Greatness? Why does it have to be compared to Pine Valley? (even though that's compliment in some way--I think) Why does Hidden Creek have to be compared to any Heathland courses in the GB for that matter? Why can't it just stand its own as a New Jersey/Pine Barrens course near Atlantic City?
