The New Nicklaus (Gary) in Wales

Can anyone tell me if someone has played the new Gary Nicklaus course in Wales?

I have heard a number of things from different sources but would like to know if someone personally has played it. Is it really in tune with the landscape or simply an American golf course superimposed on the Welsh landscape?
