Help Wanted
« on: May 11, 2005, 09:48:36 AM »
I have decided a Summer intern won't work as well as full-time employment, so I am looking for a full-time employee.

Job Description:

Golf course architect in Pinehurst, North Carolina looks to hire an entry-level employee.  Landscape Architecture or Civil Engineering degree preferred.  Autocad talent is a MUST HAVE.

Responsibilities include:  Color and B & W graphics, preparation of construction document packages, earthwork calculations, some site work exposure, marketing tasks, other general golf architecture tasks.

Please e-mail me a resume and examples of work ASAP to RMGA@carolina.net.  If you would like more information about my firm please visit my website at www.golf-architecture.com or read my feature interview here or the In My Opinion piece entitled "The Best Course No One Will Ever Play".  You might also want to read Brian Gracely's glowing review of Raleigh CC and my character under the Summer Internship thread here as well (Brian- the check will be sent out today for that).

Thanks.

Just trying to keep this toward the top for maximum exposure.  Although I did specify entry-level (i.e. out of college), I am not against speaking with someone who has a few years under their belt.

Thanks again,

Richard Mandell

I assume the job includes an apt. attached to the nice office pictured, as well as a membership at #2? ;D

Sounds like a great opportunity.

I have had some interviews, but haven't found what I am looking for.  So if anyone knows anybody looking for a job, let them know.  I am open to someone just graduating up to two years' experience.  Again, AUTOCAD knowledge is a must.

Please brainstorm for me!!
