The Package has Landed!
« on: May 14, 2005, 10:47:23 AM »
Last night the NY Metropolitan area cheered the safe arrival of the one and only Tommy Naccarato after an absence of a couple of years.

After a dinner with Corey Miller and myself the Emperor slept well and took the Metro North Commuter Train into Manhattan for his first look at the island. Many of his loyal subjects will meet up later this evening for a Sting Concert.

The golf begins tomorrow.

Maybe somebody with too much time on their hands can create a website akin to the Santa Claus tracking website. I would suggest real-time GPS mapping......although I'm not sure I need to know when the Emporer is on the throne.

Please convey to him my best wishes. I'm heading out to California this afternoon, but somehow, despite his best and most laudatory efforts, I doubt my mass will displace his.

Have fun on all the travels. I'm looking forward to an extensive writeup on the experiences.

Have fun Tommy et al. It should be a fantastic learning experience having the developer, architect, and super on hand to cover the full project.

Where is the golf being played?  What other places will be visited?

What does it matter if the poor player can putt all the way from tee to green, provided that he has to zigzag so frequently that he takes six or seven putts to reach it?     --Alistair Mackenzie--

Dr Childs, tell the great one that there is a lady here on the frozen tundra that has turned from frozen blue to envious green.

If Mr Sumner winds up inviting The Empresario backstage for a chat about how he thought the concert went, make sure he has a cell phone to at least call the little lady so they can hear her squeal like a school girl.  ::) ;D 8)

RJ - I will certainly forward the message.

My girlfriend and her 14 year old daughter also are hoping Tommy's buddy Mr Sumner (and his son who is the first act) give the backstage invite too! (It's her first "rock concert".

Michael - Tommy's golf schedule isn't a state secret but I'd rather let him divulge it himself or you can IM him.

Is the Big Apple really ready for the Emperor?  I hear the stock spurt last week was simply due to anticipation...

Start spreadin' the news...  ;D

Looking forward to seeing two old friends on Monday.  It's been way too damn long.

I was with Tommy Wednesday at Rustic Canyon and all he could talk about was his upcoming trip to New York. You folks have much responsibility to be sure he experiences it all.

Oh my achin' head......

Redanman, Katie sends her best! :)

Dick, Please do not tell Roasanna Arquette, but Katie Couric, is now in the fold! While some may think this a joke, I can assure you that there is photographic evidence and I'm getting MY people to make sure it doesn't hit the Enquirer!

Tell Jo, I didn't get to touch Sting, but did get to touch Trudie. She did me a huge favor and a phone call will be forthcoming during the week to describe details of the events...

(O.K. Katie, I'm coming! I just have to touch-up one post on GCA.)(We're going to watch Dateline together) ;)

A trip to NYC and I wasn't notified?  Oh man, you have some explaining to do my friend.  Have fun and make sure to stop by Joe's Pizza down near NYU for me and have a slice or two.  I would give a digit up for some of their pie right now.
