Pat, If there is room, please consider adding my friend, Bruce Baldinger to the list.  I mentioned the agenda to him and he would be delighted to attend.  Thanks, look forward to seeing you soon.
Wayne

Mike T,

I look forward to seeing you and your father at the event.  Make sure if you come down with Tom Paul that he doesn't drive you and your dad in his Mini Cooper S but rather in his luxo station wagon--much more room!

When do I get my annual match so that I can try and break the losing streak?

Bruce, Mark & SL,

You're in.

I've been told that the Tropicana has rooms available on Sunday night for $ 70.

Atlantic City is 20-30 minutes from Hidden Creek depending on traffic.

Remember, monday morning is a work day and commuter traffic may add some time, so, I'ld plan on leaving earlier.

There are two primary ways to get to Hidden Creek.

One is off of Exit 36 on the Garden State Parkway and the other is off of Exit 9 of the Atlantic City Expressway.

Directions to the club can be found on Hidden Creek's website at:

http://www.hiddencreekclub.com

We're going to have to CAP the number of participants playing golf at 72, Eighteen foursomes, so that play moves well.
[/color]
I would expect this group to finish in no more then 3:20, especially since there's no water at Hidden Creek.

However, I may speak to Jeff Riggs, the Superintendent, about competitive pin locations, in which case I'd consider 3:50. ;D

Pat-If there is still room, I am a tentative attendee. I need about a week to firm up my work schedule but envision attending. Please send me any particulars and thanks for putting an event like this together.

Bill Steele,

There's still room.

Those listed as interested should let me know if they can or can't make it as soon as possible as it will help us in the planning stage.

Thanks.

Scott,
Are you planning on leaving home in the morning?

Perhaps.  I have not said I will be coming - I don't know.  Would set me behind in marital area.  There's actually a 5:45 am flight that gets in PHL at 6:56.  Rental car out by 7:45, and I could make it.  Flight back after 10:00 getting in after midnight.  A long day, sure, but it's golf (and I've done this type of thing before, as many others have also done).  Lots of coffee at work the next day.

Pat,

Thank you for all of this, I can attend the event and will be.

Anybody in the Philadelphia area who wants to carpool let me know. I am coming from the Doylestown/Warminster area, so pretty much all of you are on my way to NJ in some form.

Same with you Scott, if you need a ride to and from the airport, I can do that.

Live Jupiter, Fl, was  4 handicap, played top 100 US, top 75 World. Great memories, no longer play, 4 back surgeries. I don't miss a lot of things about golf, life is simpler with out it. I miss my 60 degree wedge shots, don't miss nasty weather, icing, back spasms. Last course I played was Augusta

Scott Burroughs,

I've never revealed this, but, in addition to being an ardent GCA.comer, I'm a certifiable marriage counselor.

Are you saying that if you don't come, you'll never have another marital disagreement ?  My guess is that any marriage will have innumerable disgreements over the years, so let your trip to Hidden Creek be viewed as just another one of many.   ;D   It's not a matter of if, it's when.  ;D

Presently, we're planning breakfast at 8:00am, with the symposium starting at 9:00 am.

Do what's right for your family first, we're not that important.

Patrick,

This looks like a terrific program/day. For the 1400+ of us who unfortunately will be unable to attend, would it be possible to record/transcribe the meeting or have one or more people serve as recorders/reporters of the symposium? That would be most helpful and instructive.

Thanks.

Making up is half the fun. She will get to throw this up to you for years.

Just go and later admit you were selfish. Works everytime ;D

Patrick Mucci,

Sounds like a U2 concert or something--no recording devices of any kind allowed!  :o Will there be metal detectors at the door? :P

No problem, I'm sure several different threads will spring up on here after. I was just asking if someone might do a more systematic summary for the unwashed masses.

Best,

Pat,

I saw Bill Dow yesterday, he'd just gotten back from his long southern sojourn.  Bill indicated that he would like to attend if there's still an opening.  I thought he'd get online and do it himself by now.  Since we made arrangements to go together, I know he is committed to doing so.

Ken Cotner,

A warning.
You're the first to pick it up.

Wayne Morrison,

Consider Willie Dow added to the event.

Doug Wright,

When you take the time and effort to put together an event you can structure it anyway that you like.

Adding more work to my schedule which is already jam packed isn't in the cards.

How would I duplicate and send 1,400 video tapes to you and those you allege would be interested ?

It takes TIME, costs MONEY, involves a lot of WORK and
AGGRAVATION.

If I can expend the effort to put it together, you can expend the effort to attend, if not, suffer in silence.
