A little late, and I'm sure no one will look at this thread now, but....
I don't like beverage carts, but I love hot cart girls.
I like beautiful women in general, especially brunettes.
Beautiful women who golf turn me on.
Beautiful women who are very skilled at golf are the most desirable women around.
And if they're brunettes.....
I like some trees, to a point.
I prefer large, old, stately deciduous trees, nowhere near the fairway line, and off the rough line, too.
I like Stonehouse and Tot Hill Farm by Mike Strantz.
I like Barona Creek as much as Rustic Canyon.
I have a Perfect Club, but it is far from Perfect for me, because it's too offset.
I saw pictures of the top of my swing from my recent vacation, and it was not a pretty sight. Changed it last weekend, and immediately improved. Maybe I can hit that Perfect Club now.
I have played several Fazio courses that I like.
I like my large-headed driver, but it's come at the expense of my 3-wood, which I can't hit any more.
My opinions on caddies are shared by several of the people above. Sorry, Adam, but they're too expensive and too disruptive to flow, especially double-bagging. They should be young kids who aren't trying to make a living off of it, as it's a great way to introduce a kid to the game. I wish there had been caddies anywhere near where I grew up, so I could have been one.
I also don't know who Barbara Boxer is.
I know who Christy Canyon is. Marvelous actress.
Some of Rees' older designs, pre-Pieces, are pretty decent.
I don't know if I like single malts, I've never had one. Haven't had a shot of whisky in 10-15 years (closer to college).
I've never been across the pond. My plan - and hope - is for a 40th b-day present. I'm just about 2 1/2 years away.
Club pros have a strike against them in my book, because they are mostly cartballers. Just because a cart is free, doesn't mean you have to take it. Same with those Tour-like lockers you call golf bags with your name on them. The few that go against the grain and walk and carry are special guys. I've been lucky to meet a few within the past year or so.
I only drink alcohol while playing scrambles, and then only on the back nine. Gave up playing scrambles a few years ago. Well, I might have had a beer on the course with a GCAer or two.
Rounds with GCAers take longer than most normal rec rounds, because we're talking non-stop and looking at course features. But we'd never lag behind. We know better. They seem to go by much faster, though.
