View from the tee of the par 5 7th hole back down the valley with 9th green and the clubhouse in the distance. The hole is a great 3 shotter with the green tucked back in to the left behind bunkers and some rock outcroppings. However the huge green has an opening and mounding and undulations that will allow you to hit something drawing in from the right bouncing and running up onto the green.
The 9th hole a par 4 that can play 515yds from the very back tee if you are so inclined. From the more manageable yardages (440 if you call it that) you will have a long iron into another large green with some nice undulation.
The 10th hole starts with some tee boxes that are located adjacent to the clubhouse. I always love tee boxes that are that close to the clubhouse. I just has a good feel about it. The approach shot to the green is bulkheaded in on the front right with this stone deliniating the boundary between the greensite and a ravine to the right.
This view is from way right of the line of play for a better view. You would be (or at least should be) playing the hole from the fairway seen to the left
The false front on the 11th green. Can you believe these two balls stayed up on the putting surface. This is another interesting putting surface at Diamond Creek. The greens were some of the finest I have ever putted on. They were firm and fast and so was the approach collars and other areas of the course when I was there (July).
The par 3 12th hole. Beautiful but deadly. The large two tier nature of the green is not readily apparent from the tee, but provides lots of interest.
The 13th a par 5 measuring 555yds from the back.
The landing area on the 13th hole.
The 14th hole a par 4 of 430 from the back tees playing slightly downhill. This is the view of your approach again slightly down hill.
Sorry gotta run again, I will continue with the last few holes later.....
