GCA Inspired Article
« on: January 21, 2005, 12:18:43 PM »
All,

Please excuse the naked self-promotion but an article I wrote just ran in Wash Golf Monthly and Philly Golf Monthly.  I'm providing a link because the article was inspired by a thread on GCA a year or so ago.  I don't remember the originator but he should be credited. (Golf in 2054??)

Anyway you may see some names you recognize in the article  ;)

Don't know who "Tim in Pittsburgh" is, but the others are obvious.  "Brad in Hartford" would be 95 or 96 in 2050, wouldn't he?  Pretty spry for a geezer.   ;)

Jonathan, I promise that if I'm still alive and playing golf in 2050 at age of 96 I won't be worrying about my handicap. Great article. Love the references to "Tigerist" and to Michelle Wie and Daughters Design."

My only quibble. If I'm in my Jetson's den watching virtual football at a Packers game, I doubt I'd opt for tundra-like conditions.

Hat's off to you Rich.

I hope St Andrew's is enjoyed a few brief moments of playable weather.  Wash DC is bracing for, like Sanford use to say, the BIG one.  Expecting anthing from a dusting to a mile of snow this weekend.
