Another in my sporadic series, 'Idyllic Golf':

Washed the people coal-black from the hole in the ground.

With the transition between the tiers being so steep, how much of that green is pinnable?   ;)

Brian,
You'd best ask The Good Doctor - for it is one of his!!!

Come on Martin, spill the beans. It’s obviously a nifty bit of photoshop trickery, what’s the green?

I wold love to see the rest of the right side of the green. It does not appear to have but one pin placement now.

...and the Winner is!
Well done, Mr G. The third at Dr MacK's Pitreavie, albeit mirrored LtoR to fit better into this pic.

This green is indeed tiny - and I'd guess only around half of it is pinnable - but what a fun target it is for a Par 3.

The garden is an authentic Chinese one - Guangzhou Municipal Park. Very much to the taste of the FBD. Now where's my Gravel Rake?

I thought there was something funny about those bunkers.......

Thanks, FBD

If you include the lower tier, there is a fair amount of pinning area (although I've never seen the pin down there, and it would be a much different (and easier) hole with it there). :-\

Also, it should be told that the angle of your picture cuts off about 75% of the green!  How about a real picture with all of it?  I'm sure at least the Emperor would be pleased.

It is a great hole, and at 210 of so, often into the wind, with a stream in front and trees right and rear, not an easy one.

More pictures, please! ;)

I am impressed!

Sorry I just got to this one. Didn't even recognize that as Pitreavie #3! (the bunkers look good. Much better when I was last there)
