When you get up in the middle of the nite to take a bathroom break, and click on just to see if anyone else is posting something interesting.
Live Jupiter, Fl, was  4 handicap, played top 100 US, top 75 World. Great memories, no longer play, 4 back surgeries. I don't miss a lot of things about golf, life is simpler with out it. I miss my 60 degree wedge shots, don't miss nasty weather, icing, back spasms. Last course I played was Augusta

I have only been occasionally been lurking lately but I realized this morning that I still spend too much time on here.  This morning there was a story on the news about a plane that crashed on a golf course in Floriday yesterday and it was caught on tape.  The bad thing was was that I was looking at the golf course more than the wreckage.

My condolences go out to the family of to the pilot.

when you routinely give a rational thought to quiting your job and getting into the golf design business (with no education or experience).

when you've saved a green pen to draw golf holes with because it just looks more realistic than black or blue.
