Nice course! I'm certain it was around that age that I first drew a few golf holes, but I don't recall any poster board requests. Maybe a few clean sheets of white paper, though.
Notice the fine use of sand and water hazards in Mike's course. I'm wondering, would you make the fairways wider now, knowing what you know? And those little trees have grown considerably in 30 years. Perhaps a judicious tree removal program is required to restore your masterpiece to it's brilliant original design.
