Thanks Mark. I wasn't sure the good doctor was actually the sectretary at the time of H S Colts initial visit.

I just have to know what happened to the person whose ball was lying on the dowslope at the front of the left bunker at Dornoch #2.  Surely any attempt at extrication in the direction of the green would have only led to tragedy.  Or, were you playing with god?

Rich,

You know darned well whose ball that is!  I did manage to get it out onto the front part of the green and two putts gave me a bogey 4 of which I was proud.  On a previous visit to Dornoch I found the front right bunker from which, eventually, I picked out having taken at least half a dozen attempts to escape backwards, sideways and even down via Australia....
