Boston Golf

I am flying into Boston this week, and was wondering what options were relatively close by ( within a half-hour or so) to play on Friday morning. If anyone is interested in playing, let me know as I will be a single as of now.......

Maybe the new quarry course in Quincy? Has anybody played it?

Within 1/2 hour of Boston give or take a few minutes and traffic I would play Red Tail, a Brian Silva design.  Check their website at www.redtailgolf.net....Typically ranks top 5-10 for New England public access courses.

Red Tail is a good option. ALso some good ones in Plymouth area including Crosswinds and Two courses at Pinehills. Also right near Red Tail is Shaker Hills.

Red Tail is very nice, but if your staying downtown, it closer to 60 min+. Pinehills is about the same distance on the southshore, but right off Rt 3. Shaker Heights is a little closer on the North shore. Very good Brian Silva work.

I would suggest George Wright muni, a "rough around the edges" Donald Ross gem in Hyde Park.
