C'mon, That second picture, the color one, is a pro. Isn't it?

Look at that point of impact position, with the head down, perfect!

Neil.

Nice photos of nice golf swings.  I recently had the opportunity to play SH with my son Andrew, and it was very, very, special.

Andrew is just 16 years old, and managed a 75 and a 71 there, putting my golf game to shame, but making me very proud.

Jeff,

That's a memorable time with your son. I hope you have many more.

A couple of thoughts I meant to post earlier....

Your photos are as good as any I have seen done professionally.....

Your photos remind me that a commerical photographer would ALWAYS put golfers in a golf course photo, while a Golf Course Photographer never will, as it they are works of art too good for people.....

And,

What does it say about me that my pictures of Andrew, other than the obigatory first tee shot, are of him in Sand Hills cavernous bunkers?  Or, that those seemed to be the pictures he wanted taken?  In fact, I was going to blow one up, frame it, and give it to him for Christmas.

Jeff,

I'm planning a thread called Bunkered in Nebraska that will have pictures of the pits from Sand Hills and Wild Horse, with and without people (including numerous GCA regulars.)
Side-by-side, one after another, they ought to present the case for Nebraska having golf's most memorable sand.

That 13th is as pretty a skyline green as I've ever seen!  ;D

How old is Christian?  I remember my first round on a full length course with my 12-yr old son David, now 33.  He knocked a driver onto a 150 yd par 3, closer that my 7 iron.  It's been all downhill since!

There are few things more precious in life than playing golf with your son.  And seeing in him the love and respect you have for golf, inbued in the younger generation.  Or daughter for that matter, although neither of mine ever showed any interest in the slightest!  :-\
