I've got a suggestion:

How about if the left side bunkers on #18 were moved into a catch-basin, similar to the right side of #16 at Mid Ocean or #2 at NGLA . . . . . or even the left side of #16 at NGLA???

Let us say you put a splash bunker down on the bottom of the *pit* on the left side of #18; how interesting would it be to watch professionals try and approach the green from the base of a pit with only sky to guide their approach?

Imaginine the commentators describing the ball tottering down the pit on the left. . . . . .

Mackenzie would be proud.

......and get rid of one of the bunkers which Sandy Lyle hit his memorable fairway bunker shot from... you must be joking...  Us Brits would never forgive you Gib!  ;) ;)

I am not suggesting removing them, only relocating them into a pit of perdition. Let's make the professionals REALLY work the ball.

I also wanted to add, and this is being mean-spirited in anyway, but was Hootie trying to impersonate Bobby Jones in his mannerisms and speech when presenting Feel Micklesin with the green jacket from the Maasta's Toonamint. Or is that just the way he really is?

Yes, that is the way he is, and a lot of us are glad that he is running the best tournament in golf.

It is always laughable to see the simpletons in the national media make fun of him. You can bet the hacienda that he is utterly beyond most of them in terms of accomplishment.
