Anyone know where to get The Confidential Guide?
« on: April 10, 2004, 09:43:00 PM »
I have been wondering why Clock Tower Press or any place else does not sell it. Is there any place I can buy it? Thanks in advance.

Contact Sleeping Bear Press - they may still print it.

If not, search google for used books specialists.  You'll pay alot but no question you'll be able to find it.

There are 3 copies right now on ebay...if you don't mind paying 150.00 to 200.00

sheesh.

I'd like a copy too, but in Canadian dollars, that's like...a lot.

Nice of you - amazon.com has new copies for up to $750.00
At least, that's what their site says...

there was a thread on this exact topic about a month ago which is in the archives.  Tom Doak chimed in as well, where he explained the potential reason for the price differentials.

I bought mine about 2 months ago from Beechtree. It cost about $45(list price) plus shipping. I don't know if they have any left.

John,

Not to turtore you.......but about a year ago I stumbled upon a copy in a discount book store near my home in Cleveland. When I saw a price of about $10 I felt like I was stealing.

That was quite different than trying to track down a copy of Jim Finegan's history of golf in Philadelphia a few years back when I paid about $200 for a book that may be even tougher to find.

Sometimes you get lucky; other times you don't!

I started a similar thread a few months ago, I recently contacted Grant Books and received a signed copy in mint condition for £50. It is becoming a very difficult book to get your hands on, so I am very happy. ;D
