Jim- You may get a better response if you tell why you want them.
Since Pebbles own web site doesn't show the schematics of the new bunkers, It may be hard to get Pics.
What do you want to know?
I've been lurking around here basically forever - it is one of my favorite sites. I have a keen interest in course design and construction - though I'm not involved in either. I'm actually a professor in biology at the Univ. of Tennessee, Knoxville. Everytime I visit this site I learn something new about course architecture and for that I would like to thank all of the great minds around here.
My request for pictures stems from a hobby that I have. While it may sound trite and uninteresting to some, I am involved with a small group of individuals that build golf courses for Microsoft Links 2003 using their APCD autocad program. One of these courses is a recreation of Pebble Beach that can be played by all users of the program. While we have incredibly detailed information re: layout, elevations, etc., some of our material is dated; i.e., it does not include the new bunkering on the 14th and 18th holes. What I'm looking for is a few pics that will enable us to place these bunkers as accurately as possible with respect to position, shape, and contour. I know a few of the members here play Pebble Beach on occasion and was hoping that someone would be generous enough to take a few pics next time they were out. Rest assured, there is no money to be made on this project - it is just a hobby and the course, once completed, will be distributed for free and with the blessings of Microsoft (yeah Microsoft and free in the same sentence is an oxymoron of sorts).
In any event, thanks for reading through my rather long-winded response.
