Thanks for your insights! I recently purchased two of your books and have already learned a great deal from them. I was surprised to find that you grew up in Stamford as I did, although we moved when I was pretty young and many years before I took up golf (which, judging by your description of Stamford's munis, was probably a good thing). I live in the Philly area, too, and I haven't heard about Ardrossan Farm. I searched for information about it on the Internet, and all I was able to find was that the Ardrossan Farm was the old Scott estate near Radnor and that it's being broken up for development. I take it that a new course has been, or is being, built there. Can you tell us anything more about it? Do you know if the old Horace Trumbauer-designed house is still there (perhaps being used as a clubhouse)? It sounds like a great project.
