My first advice would be that grouping some of "us" into some vague alliance is confusing and could hurt others feelings... So be careful, please. and,
"We" (to quote you) did not rank PB#1 and while proud to be in proximity to some corporate revenue generating propaganda, would be hard pressed to agree with that monicker(sp?). However, if you have been there enough times and seen it in many light and weather conditions you still have some doubt that it isn't deserved.

Adam, all of my comments were intended on an "if the shoe fits..." basis. Don't be offended if the shoe doesn't fit, please. And even if it does, please note my liberal usage of  's.

I'm content to be a minority opinion on this one, OK? But given only one round to play, all else being equal (and it never will be, so in the most important sense what I'm about to say is a bogus comparison) I would still rather play PD than Pebble, and it doesn't seem as though any amount of rhetoric is going to make me change my mind.

I still want to play the course with you if I strike it rich, though.  My guess is you'll enjoy the round.

As would you AND ME at PD, obviously.

This is really nit-picking in the end.  These are both great courses... and we're always gonna have our personal preferences among these.

As for that course out on Long Island that starts with "S", I'm on your side. It ranks ahead of PB.
